We're pleased to share the signing of a memorandum of understanding between Eddekhar and Sahm Capital, bringing CMA-licensed investment solutions to users of the Eddekhar workplace platform.
A partnership signed at CMF Riyadh
Sahm Capital — the first fintech-driven financial company to be fully licensed by the Capital Market Authority (CMA license no. 22251-25) — signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Eddekhar at the Capital Market Forum (CMF) Riyadh 2025. The agreement brings together Sahm Capital's licensed capabilities across the Saudi capital markets — dealing, advising, custody, arranging, and managing investments — with Eddekhar's workplace savings and investment platform.
What we shared
"At Sahm Capital, we believe that financial empowerment begins with education. Through this partnership, Eddekhar simplifies the savings process, while Sahm Capital provides the investment solutions needed to grow and secure those savings for the future."
— Steven Chou, Chairman of Sahm Capital
"Financial literacy is the cornerstone of long-term wealth building. By joining forces with Sahm Capital, we are enabling employees to move beyond just saving — empowering them with the tools, knowledge, and access to investment opportunities that drive financial growth."
— Dr. Adnan Alkhiary, Founder of Eddekhar
What this brings together
Under the partnership, employees saving through Eddekhar's payroll-integrated platform gain access to investment options matched to their risk tolerance, backed by Sahm Capital's CMA-licensed capital-markets infrastructure. Eddekhar continues to handle the savings side — automated payroll deductions, Shariah-compliant options, and day-to-day account management — while Sahm Capital contributes the investment expertise employees need to grow those savings over time.
What this means for our customers
For the HR and finance teams already offering Eddekhar as a workplace benefit, this partnership extends what that benefit can do: employees don't just set money aside, they get a clearer path to putting it to work. It's part of the same shift we're seeing across Saudi employers — from financial benefits that stop at end-of-service payouts, toward ones that build ongoing financial security.
Our thanks to Steven Chou and the Sahm Capital team for building this together with us. We look forward to sharing more as this partnership grows.
