We are pleased to share that Eddekhar represented Saudi Arabia at COMEUP in Seoul, South Korea, as part of the Tech Founders program run by the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, SparkLabs Korea, and SparkLabs Saudi Arabia.
What the program involved
The Tech Founders program took a small group of Saudi startups through mentorship sessions and pitch preparation with global VCs and builders, culminating in Demo Day and a closing session in Seoul. Eddekhar's own Co-Founder and CTO, Abdulkareem Alkhiary, took part in the program and presented Eddekhar at COMEUP alongside founders building in other ecosystems.
What we shared
At the closing Startup Saudi session, "The New Global Gateway for High-Potential Startups," Eng. Mohammed Al-Orifi (Assistant Deputy for Entrepreneurship) and Ibrahim Niyaz (CEO of the National Technology Development Program) joined presentations from three Saudi companies: Eddekhar in smart financial solutions, CAMION in supply chain and freight enablement, and Munjez in facility management digitization. Eddekhar's presentation centered on the same idea we bring to every employer conversation: a financial benefits platform built around automated payroll-based savings and safe, Shariah-compliant investment options.
What this means for our customers
Standing alongside other high-potential Saudi startups on an international stage, as part of a delegation led by the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, is a marker of the same thing we tell employers directly: Eddekhar is a regulated, credible platform built in Saudi Arabia, for Saudi companies. Representing the Kingdom's fintech sector in Seoul is one more proof point behind that claim, alongside our CMA permit and Shariah certification.
