Conflict of Interest Policy

Version 1.0 · Last updated: 28 October 2026

Maharat Al-Eddekhar Fintech Holding Company ("the Company"), operator of the Eddekhar platform, holds a FinTech Experimental Permit from the Capital Market Authority to test robo-advisory services. During the permit period it complies with the Additional Regulatory Requirements and with Article 41 of the Capital Market Institutions Regulations. We publish this page as a public disclosure under Section 7 of the Additional Regulatory Requirements.

What is a conflict of interest?

Any situation in which the Company, its owners, directors, executive management or employees have a personal or financial interest, or an outside relationship, that could affect objective decisions that put the client’s interest first.

Who does the policy apply to?

The Company, its board of managers, executive management, owners and all employees, and contractors who perform material client-related tasks.

Main potential conflicts

  • Commissions, incentives or payments linked to funds or securities we invest in.
  • Steering clients to programmes that earn the platform more, regardless of suitability.
  • The robo-advisor’s algorithm being influenced by a commercial relationship with a provider.
  • Using client information for the benefit of the Company or anyone else.
  • Employees’ personal dealing, gifts and benefits from third parties, and outside interests.
  • Relationships between owners, directors or executive management and service providers or managers of the funds we invest in.

How we avoid conflicts and manage those we can’t avoid

  • Avoidance comes first; investment decisions follow documented objective criteria.
  • We separate duties and restrict access to confidential information through defined barriers and permissions.
  • Employees’ personal dealing is subject to prior approval, disclosure and monitoring under Article 50 of the Capital Market Institutions Regulations.
  • We prohibit cash incentives from third parties and control the acceptance of gifts and benefits.
  • Owners, directors, executive management and employees disclose their interests on appointment, annually, and whenever they change.
  • Where a conflict can’t be avoided, we exclude the person concerned from the decision, apply independent oversight, disclose it to the client, or stop providing the affected service.

Disclosure to you

If an actual or potential conflict affects a service we provide to you, we disclose it to you in writing before providing that service and obtain your written acknowledgement. We proceed only with your consent. Every case is recorded in a dedicated register kept for ten years.
